Synthetic Finishing Pads

These pads are great for knocking down raised grain before the first coat of finish, and for removing “nubbies” between coats. Because they’re synthetic, they’re perfect for water-based finishes where steel wool would cause rust problems. Non-woven technology means they won’t shed abrasive crumbs onto the finish. Best of all, they’re completely washable; just rinse them out under a tap to renew the abrasive qualities. Large 6 x 9 pads make quick work of broad flat surfaces. Available in three color-coded grades. 93451 is comparable to #2 Steel Wool. 93469 is comparable to #0 Steel Wool and 93477 is comparable to #000 Steel Wool.
